Mac is excellent on image processing. Problem is that, for a long time, there are no full featured screen capture tools specially designed for Mac. Good new comes on On Dec 15, 2009, TechSmith, the excellent screen capture software creator (Camtasia, Snagit etc.), announced the release of a beta version of SnagIt for the Mac.

Well, Snagit for Mac offers you a full features of your captured pictures. Such as smoothly handles a number of tasks, including grabbing just one window, a portion of the screen, or a single menu as well as annotating screen images. You can add arrows, speech bubbles, and more make it easy to customize your capture. The customized pictures then can be send to your favorite app, share online, or save for later.

Although the Snagit has so many great features, it is still a beta version, so you may encounter bugs, and new features may still be on the way. The TechSmith promise that they will improve the features and correct some weak points of this Screen Capture tool. The update will be every 30 to 60 days based on user feedback.
